Community Walks

The power of community to create health, is far greater than any physician, clinic or hospital.

Keep an eye out on the website for community walking events suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Simply check the colour coding on the event advertisement and make sure you are ready at the meeting point at the specified time. Upcoming scheduled walking events will be posted at the bottom of the page.


Green – over 50’s, 1 hour gentle stroll with small stretches

Yellow – all ages, 1 hour power walk

Blue – all ages, 3 hour hike including hills.


Remember to bring water, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, hat, insect repellent and cash for refreshments.


Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success!
